TRIBUTE AWARD
McNab Community Association
Florence Cyca joined McNab Community Association in 2014 after attending a meeting of specific relevance to her and became secretary shortly after.
She had a tremendous number of new ideas for community association programs. Her suggestions ranged from free, inclusive, and family focused social events, bringing people from the neighborhood together. Florence put a lot of her time into attending information sessions put on by the city then reporting highlights back to the association at the next meeting.
As Secretary, she wrote fantastic meeting minutes. She articulated a lot of conversation into precise and meaningful words distributed to the executive in advance of our meetings. Florence had a gentle way of bringing us back to the agenda to stay on topic. She graciously took over the role of chairperson in April 2022.
Her energy, creativity and passion will be greatly missed by all.
